Upload Failed Error When Editing or Opening Documents

Issue/Question

Why am I receiving this error when opening or editing documents

Error: Upload Failed  - We're sorry, someone updated the server copy and its not possible to upload your changes now

Error: Document has not been uploaded to the server.  Do you want to close this file?  All Microsoft Office Files that have changes pending upload to the server can be viewed here

Error: UPLOAD FAILED - We're sorry, someone updated the server version with edits that conflict with yours

Error:  File failed to upload - There was an error while uploading a file to the server.  Click to view and resolve the error.

Environment

• Microsoft Office 
• Office Upload Center

Resolution

1. Click  
2. Type Upload Center
3. Click Office Upload Center
4. Click Settings
5. Click Delete cached files
6. Click Delete cached information
7. Delete cache
8. Uncheck Delete files from the Office Document Cache when they are closed
