How to change the ringtone for a Cisco 8851 Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone

How can we set a different ringtone on a Cisco 8851 VoIP phone?

Environment

• Cisco 8851 VoIP phone

Cause

A different ring tone is desired 

Resolution

1. On the phone, press 
2. Select  Settings > Ringtone > Edit
3. Choose the desired ringtone
4. Select Set > Exit > Exit
