Printer is Only Printing on Both Sides

Issue/Question

I have set the printer to print on one side but it will print on both sides of the page

Prints double sided even when you specify single

Environment

• Microsoft Windows
• HP ColorLaserJet ProM452
• Various Printer Models

Cause

Incorrect drivers are installed

Printer properties are set to print on both sides

Resolution

1. Install correct drivers for that printer
   • HP Printers
   • Brother Printers
   • Epson Printers
2. Change Printer Properties Settings
   1. Click the Windows Start Button
   2. Type printers
   3. Select Printers & Scanners
   4. Select the printer
   5. Click Printing preferences
   6. Select No under Print on both sides:
   7. Click Apply
   8. Click OK
3. Try printing again
   Note: You will need to change it to print on one side one last time from the print preview window before it will remain on that setting
