How do I request to extend account access for an affiliate?

Cause
Sponsored accounts are time‑limited by design to ensure continued compliance with University access, security, and sponsorship requirements. These accounts are created for individuals who are no longer active employees or students but still require temporary access for approved purposes (such as volunteers, affiliates, or contractors).
Resolution
Each sponsored account must be extended annually by the sponsoring department to confirm that access is still required. If an extension request is not submitted before the expiration date, the account will expire and access will be removed.
