Problems Using Respondus on Ipad

Issue/Question

Cannot exit Respondus Lockdown Browser on iPad.  It is requiring a teachers code

Can I use my iPad with Lockdown Browser

Environment

• Respondus Lock Down Browser
• iPad

Resolution

1. The University does not support Respondus Lockdown Browser on iPads
   Note: Instructors must enable Respondus Monitor in D2L
2. Contact the professor for the code, if required
3. Force Restart iPad
   1. Models with Home button
      1. Press and hold the Power button and Home button at the same time
      2. Release once the Apple logo appears
   2. Models with no Home button
      1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the power button
      2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the power button
      3. Press and hold the power button, until Apple logo appears
