Photoshop will not Open or Function Properly

Issue/Question

Can't open Photoshop for some reason, had it open earlier today, now will not open. 

Environment

  • Photoshop CC
  • Windows 10

Cause

Application crashed or didn't close properly and is still running in the background

Application may crash or not function properly when access remotely

Resolution

  1. Right click 
  2. Click Task Manager
  3. Click Photoshop
  4. Click the End Task button
  5. Close Task Manager
  6.  Try opening Photoshop again
