How do I install the multifunction printer on my Apple device?

Environment

  • MacOS
  • iOS
  • Personally owned computer, phone, or tablet
  • Papercut Print Deploy Client 

Cause

Need to print from personal device

Resolution

Note: Must download using Safari
Note: Must be connected to USD wifi/network to complete these steps
Note: Must have macOS 13 or higher (Monterey)
Note: May need to turn off/disable any 3rd party VPN client

  1. Go to http://usd-papercut.usd.edu:9163/setup
  2. Download Mobility Print for your device
  3. Install Mobility Print and USD Print printer
    Note: Select all printers that you would like to be able to print to including USD Print
  4. Enter your USD credentials when prompted
    Note: Your computers username will auto populate - you need to remove it and use your USD EmailUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
