Issue/Question

The username and claim code are not working.  I keep getting the error message "The Claim My Account operation failed".

saying that it’s an invalid code

  • USD Account Pickup

Resolution

  1. Do Not copy and paste the username or claim code from the claim email
    • If there is an extra space when entered you will receive an error
    • Do not use any part of your name in your password
  2. If you have already been using your USD account and are able to access the technology resources, your account does not need to be claimed
    1. If you don't remember your password, follow Password reset
  3. If you haven't logged into your account yet please contact the Service Desk with the following information:
    Note: You will get an error if there is a space in the username or claim code field when trying to copy and paste

    2. Screen shot of the screen you are on
