Accessing Google Account

Issue/Question

Do we have gmail accounts that are aligned to our USD email accounts? 

Can I access Youtube using my USD Google Account access

Environment

• Google Applications
• USD Account
• USD Email 

Cause

USD Accounts are set up with access to some, not all, Google Applications 

Resolution

Note: Your USD account will not be able to access Gmail. To access Gmail, you will need to use a personal account

Note: Google Workspace resources are only available to Faculty, Staff, and Student USD accounts, not affiliates.

1. Access Google docs/drive, sites, blogger & scholar
2. Your USD account will give you access to the following Google resources:
   1. Calendar
   2. Contacts
   3. Drive
   4. Docs
   5. Forms
   6. Google+
   7. Groups 
   8. Hangouts
   9. Meet
   10. News
   11. Photos
   12. Sheets
   13. Sites
   14. Slides
   15. Translate
   16. Youtube

   Note: If your USD account is deleted USD cannot recover data from the associated Google account
4. If you are unable to login or recieve an error 
   • Follow Switching Google Accounts to switch from personal to USD Google Account
   • Clearing Cache & Cookies
   • Try in a different browser
