Cause
Coyote Connections is a student success tracking system that can serve a number of functions for faculty and advisors.
Resolution
- Log into myUSD portal
- Below Quick Links click Coyote Connections
- Click Next to Staff Home
- Select Professor Home
Note: You will see a list of courses you are teaching and the students enrolled
- Click to select the course
- To raise an alert
- next to the student
- At the top click Actions
- Click Issue Alert
- In the Issue Alert box
- Select a reason for the alert
- Select Course Section
- Add comments to help the advisor discuss the concern with the student
- Click Submit
- The student's academic advisor will receive a notice of concern and will contact the student
Note: When faculty raise a concern about a student, the student will receive an email detailing the concern. The contact information for the faculty member and the student's academic advisor are also provided.
