Even as you are looking for a job:
Be prepared to share your class schedule and any other relevant time commitments with potential employers
When you are offered a work-study job, make sure that the working dates, wage, schedule, and other expectations are clear before you accept the offer
New hire forms require employees to fill out a W-4, direct deposit form and an I-9
The I-9 requires hard copy documents that show identification and proof of eligibility to work
For most students this is either a passport or both a physical social security card and your drivers license
