Installing Papercut USDPrint Multifunction Device Printer on USD Computer

Issue/Question

How do I install USDPrint multifunction device printer on USD computer

Environment

• USD Print
• Papercut
• Windows 11
• MacOS
• USD owned and managed computer
• Papercut print management software
• Papercut Print Deploy Client 

Cause

Need to print to multifunction devices

Resolution

Automatic Install

PaperCut Print Deploy Client and USD Print multifunction printer are automatically installed on USD owned and managed computers

If the USD Print printer is not on your USD computer, follow these steps to install it:

Windows

Intune Company Portal method (Recommended)

1. Click  at the bottom of the screen
2. Type Company Portal in the Search field
3. Press Enter
4. Click Install next to Papercut Print Deploy Client
   Note: If already installed, it will be in the Downloads & updates section

Manual Install

1. Click Papercut Print Deploy Client
2. Follow prompts to download and install

MacOS

Manual Install

1. Click Papercut Print Deploy Client
2. Follow prompts to download and install

Self Service Install

1. Open Finder
2. Click Applications in the navigation pane on the left
3. Open USD ITS Self Service
4. Click Install under Papercut
   Note: If already installed, click Reinstall
5. Click  at the top of the screen to open Papercut
6. Click View my printers
7. Log in with your USD Credentials (First.Last) if prompted
8. Click Add printers
9. Click Install next to USD Print
