As a student worker (employee) how do I send email as my @usd.edu email address

Resolution
All student employees will have an employee email address created to use for their student employment purposes.
Create and add a student employee email signature
Sending an Email from a Student Worker (Shared) Mailbox in New Outlook
- Open New Outlook:
- Launch the New Outlook application on your computer
- Compose a New Email:
- Click on New Email in the Home tab
- Show the From Field:
- If you don't see the From field at the top of your new email, go to the Options tab and select Show From
- Select the Shared Mailbox:
- Click From menu
- Select Other Email Address
- Type the shared mailbox email address or select it from the list if it appears
Note: First-Last@usd.edu is the standard format for student worker email addresses
- Click OK
- Compose and Send the Email:
- Write your email as usual
- Choose your student employee email signature
- Ensure the 'From' field shows the shared mailbox address
- Click Send

- Open Outlook on the Web:
- Compose a New Email:
- Show the From Field:
- If you don't see the From field, click on the three dots at the top of the new message window
- Select Show From
- Select the Shared Mailbox:
- Click on the From
- Select Other Email Address
- Type the shared mailbox email address or select it from the list if it appears

- Click OK
- Compose and Send the Email:
- Write your email as usual
- Choose your student employee email signature
- Ensure the From field shows the shared mailbox address
- Click Send
