Answer

  1. Go to the Add/Drop Form
    Note:
This form should only be used when adding or dropping any courses you have already applied for in that term. The same form can be used to add and/or drop classes.
Note: Students can only enroll in 10 credits per term. If you wish to take more than you will need to file a petition to enroll in 11 or more hours.
  2. Under the Student Section, type your full name & email address
  3. Under the Parent/Guardian Section, type your parent or guardian’s name & email address
Note: make sure the emails are typed correctly, otherwise your parent or guardian will not receive the email
  4. Under the School Official Section, type your high school counselor’s name and counselor's email address
  5. Click Begin Signing
  6. Complete the form
  7. Sign the form at the bottom of the page when prompted by the yellow sign icon
  8. Click submit at the bottom of the page
  9. The form will be sent to your parent or guardian’s email address where they will need to sign the form
  10. The form will then be sent to your high school official's email address where they will need to sign the form
    Note:
If your parent or counselor can’t find the form in their email, they should check their junk or spam folder. If they cannot find the email, contact dualcredit@usd.edu with the emails used (incorrect spelling causes the form to be voided).
  11. After all parties have signed the form, USD will process your add or drop request
  12. USD’s Dual Credit Advisor will contact you via email when the drop has happened successfully
