How to protect your PivotTable data in Excel?
Answer
If you want to protect your data, click on the Review tab.
To just protect a worksheet, select Protect Sheet. At the top of the dialogue box, enter a password for the sheet. Keep Protect worksheet and Contents of locked cells checked, and check the boxes of what users should be allowed to do. Once done, click OK.
To just protect a workbook, select Protect Workbook. At the top of the dialogue box, enter a password for the sheet. Once done, click OK.
To unlock the sheet simply go to the Home tab and select Format, and then select Unprotect Sheet.
