Unable to open Outlook
The icon in the lower right hand corner indicates being disconnected
Error: cannot open Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open outlook window
Error: The operation failed due to an installation problem. Restart Outlook and try again. If the problem persists, please reinstall

- Restart Outlook in safe mode
- Right-click
- Click Run
- Type Outlook /safe
- Click OK
- Repair Outlook
- Recreate Outlook Profile
- Click
- Type Control Panel
- Click Control Panel
- Select Small Icons from View by: drop down
- Click Mail
- Click Show Profiles
- Click Add
- Type a different profile name from existing
- Click OK
- Click Finish
- Select new profile name from Always use this profile
- Click OK
- Remove folders from Deleted Items
- Log into account on mail.usd.edu
- Click beside Deleted Items
- Delete any folders inside Deleted Items
- Re-install Office
