How do I schedule a meeting using Scheduling Poll in Outlook?
Environment
- Microsoft Office 365
- Microsoft Outlook
Resolution
- Create a new email or select an email to reply to
- Required meeting attendees must be in the To field and optional attendees in the Cc field
- In the Message tab select New Scheduling Poll
- Fill in meeting settings
- Select a few meeting times to be voted on
- Click Next
- Enter the meeting location
- Click Manage Poll settings and toggle the ON/OFF options
- Click Create Poll
- Click Send to send the invites and start the voting process
- Once a time has been selected Outlook will automatically send a calendar invite
- To add a Zoom meeting open the calendar item and click Schedule a Meeting
Note: This feature requires the Zoom Outlook Plugin
- Select your meeting options and click Save
- Click Save and Close or Send Update
