Issue/Question
I need to get my MAC (Media Access Control) address
Environment
	- Microsoft Windows
 
	- Apple MacOS
 
	- Google Android
 
	- Apple iOS
 
	- Chrome OS
 
Resolution
Note: MAC address will be in this format  A1:B2:C3:D4:E5:F6, with or without symbols separating the characters
Microsoft Windows
	- Press 
 
	- Type Command Prompt
 
	- Click on Command Prompt
 
	- Type getmac /v
 
	- The Connection Name and Physical Address for the Wireless Adapter should be listed
	Note: The MAC Address is listed under Physical Address 
Apple macOS
	- Click 
 
	- Select System Preferences
 
	- Click Network
 
	- Select Wi-Fi from the list
 
	- Click Advanced
 
	- Select the Hardware tab
 
	- The MAC Address should be listed
 
Google Chromebook
	- Open Chrome
 
	- In the address bar, type chrome://system 
 
	- Press ENTER
 
	- Look for ifconfig and click Expand...
 
	- For the wired MAC address, look for the eth0 section
 
	- For the wireless MAC address, look for the wlan0 section
 
Google Android
	- Open Android Settings 
 
	- Select About Phone
 
	- Select Status
 
	- The MAC Address should be listed under Wi-Fi MAC address
 
Apple iOS
	- Open Settings 
 
	- Select General
 
	- Select About
 
	- The MAC Address should be listed under Wi-Fi Address
 
Other Devices
	- The address may be located in Settings under Wireless or Network
 
	- If you cannot locate the address under settings
	
		- Start Mobile Hotspot on an Android phone
 
		- Connect the device to the Hotspot network using the SSID and Password of the Hotspot
 
		- Once the device connects, the phone should show a connected device and list the MAC address
