Cannot Play Panopto Video in D2L

Issue/Question

I am trying to watch videos that my online teacher is having us watch and it says you do not have access to view this session.

Environment

• Panopto
• D2L

Cause

Panopto recording is opened as an external link and D2L permissions are not retained

Resolution

1. Select the link next to your Panopto video
2. When prompted to sign in, select D2L Login from the drop down
3. This should sign you in and allow you to view the video
   Note:  If you are still having issues please contact your instructor and have them unhide the Panopto content item, then click the link to Panopto - USD under content
4. Clear Cache and Cookies
