Resolution

Note: USD is currently switching to a different VOIP system.  The steps will vary based on if your phone has been updated

Call forwarding can be initiated in multiple ways

From the physical phone

  1. Push Forward all on the phone
  2. Dial the destination's phone number (658-XXXX)
  3. If the destination number is not a voip number, be sure to put a 9 before it (9-605-670-XXXX)
    Note: Phones with the Webex update no longer can have a 9 entered before the number
  4. Make a test call to ensure the forwarding was successful

Note: If forwarding to a long-distance number, any forwarded call may have applicable long distance fees billed to the voip number (9-1-605-357-XXXX)

If your phone has the SD logo image

From the self-care portal

  1. Login to the self-care portal
    Note: If off campus you must use VPN 
  2. Click Call Forwarding along the left side
  3.  Forward all calls to: 
  4. Enter the destination's number (658-XXXX)
    1. If the destination number is not a voip number, be sure to put a 9 before it (9-605-670-XXXX)
  5. Click Save
  6. Make a test call to ensure the forwarding was successful

If your phone has the Coyotes Mascot Head image

From the Webex web portal

  1. Sign in to the Webex web portal 
  2. Click  Settings
  3. Click Calling
  4. Toggle Call Forwarding. in the Call forwarding section
  5. Check  the preferred option
  6. Once checked, a phone number can then be entered
    Note: Add number without 9 or 9-1
  7. Click Save

From Webex

  1. Open Webex
  2. Click Call settings in the bottom left corner
  3. Click Open Call Preferences
  4. Click add number
  5. Once added, the option to forward to that number will be available
  6. Review the other preferences if needed
  7. Click Save
