Issue/Question

When I logged into my office computer this morning, There were two windows that popped up for a new network extension and a Microsoft Defender filter

"Microsoft Defender" Would like to Filter Network Content   All network activity on this Mac may be filtered or monitored.

"wdavdaemon" would like to use a new network extension  You can enable this extension in Login Items & Extensions.  Network extensions run in the background and can monitor netwo traffice on your Mac.

Resolution

  1. Click OK to wdavdaemon would like to use a new endpoint security extension
  2. Click OK to wdavdaemon would like to use a new endpoint security extension
  3. Click Allow to Microsoft Defender Would Like to Filter Network Content
