Requesting Assistive Tech Equipment

Question

I want to request or checkout an assistive technology equipment

Answer

1. If you are a current student registered with the Office of Accessibility, you can request for assistive technology equipment
   Note: you first need to have your accommodation approved before requesting equipment, see Requesting Academic Accommodations for the First Time
2. Both students and visitors can request equipment using the Accessibility Equipment Service 
3. Once your request have been approved, please visit our office located in the I.D. Weeks Library room 103 for pick up
   • Our Office is open Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
   • You are responsible for the equipment while in your possession and may be charged the amount it will cost to replace the equipment if damaged or not returned
