How do I submit notes as a peer note-taker?
Environment
- Accommodate by Symplicity.
Cause
Some students may be hired as a peer note-taker to provide lecture notes to a fellow student for accessibility purposes. If you are a peer note-taker wanting to submit your notes, please refer to steps below.
Resolution
- Log in to Accommodate
- Select Note-Taker Network from the menu on the left side of the screen
- Label notes appropriately under Note Title
- Select the course from the Course(s) drop-down menu
- Write a brief description of your notes in the Description box
- Click Upload File to upload your notes
- Enter the date your notes were taken under Date Notes Taken
- Click Submit
- Click the Note Library tab in the center of the screen to view previously submitted notes
After you submit your notes, the student for whom you are providing services will be able to access the notes, including any associated details (such as the date the notes were taken, the notes title, etc).
