Scanner will not deliver scans to email address
Environment
Cause
Resolution
- Verifiy email address is set properly on the copier
- Open a web browser
- Type the IP address of the copier into the address bar
- Click Registration
- Click Address Book
- Locate the entry for the user and verify the spelling of the email address
- Verify the copier can send emails to other users
- Perform another Scan to Email and include another user
- Verify that that user receives the email
- Send an email to the user from another email account
- Verify that there are no rules set in Outlook preventing the delivery of email
- Open Outlook
- Click Rules
- Click Manage Rules and Alerts
- Click the checkmark box on any rule with a to deactivate the rule
- Click OK
- Send another email from the copier
- Check DNS settings
- Click Administration
- Click Setup
- Click Network
- Click DNS Session

- Click Save
- Perform another Scan to Email and include another user
- Verify that that user receives the email
