Question
What is the UCOR fee on my billing statement?
What does the UCOR fee cover?
Answer
- The UCOR fee is a one-time charge that grants students access to one of the following platforms
- CORE Experiential Learning Management System (CORE ELMS): A comprehensive system used to manage and track student placements in various clinical and experiential learning settings
- Exxat Education Management Platform: This platform is specific to the Physical Therapy program and supports the organization and administration of clinical education and related activities
- PA Manager: A specific tool tailored for managing Physician Assistant programs, ensuring smooth coordination and tracking of student progress through clinical and experiential learning activities
All students enrolled in USD School of Health Sciences programs that utilize CORE ELMS, Exxat, or PA Manager are required to pay the UCOR fee. This fee ensures students have continuous access to these essential educational tools throughout their entire program of study and one year post-graduation. It is important to note that the UCOR fee is billed only once. Students will pay this fee toward the beginning of their program or clinical/experiential learning courses and will not be charged for access to their respective platform again. Should a student decide to leave their program of study, their access to CORE ELMS, Exxat, and PA Manager will be deactivated with no refund.
