What is the naloxone (Narcan) policy?

Answer

It is the policy of the University that naloxone, in the form of Narcan, may be made available to properly trained individuals to aid in the emergency response to a suspected opioid overdose on the University campus.

Narcan is available at various locations around the USD campus 

  • MUC front desk,
  • MUC 219
  • UPD
  • Student Counseling Center
  • Wellness Center
  • Student residence hall front desk
  • other future locations
