Answer
The committee is authorized to undertake business in relation to two limited tasks:
- establishing, revising, and approving data standards, policies, and procedures
- confirming and overseeing data stewards
- Handle escalations from data governance management committee
- Provide data governance management committee with data governance goals and framework
