How do I request Access to Desire2Learn with elevated permissions

Requesting Help Desk Pro Staff / elevated permissions in D2L

Environment

  • Desire2Learn (D2L) 

Cause

D2L access for Faculty and Students is automated based on the enrollment of a current course offering in D2L.  If a user needs elevated permissions for assisting a department in an administrative role, access must be requested

Resolution

  1.  Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. Name and Banner ID
    2. Requested level of access
    3. Name or Banner ID of an account that can be mirrored

ITS STAFF ONLY

  1. For department head access follow Granting Department Head Access to an Account in D2L
  2. For ITS or CTL staff follow Requesting Elevated Permissions or Access in Desire2Learn for ITS or CTL Staff
