Question

How do I create a task in Outlook?

Answer

Sometimes a message contains information about some action that you need to take.

You can drag the message from your Inbox to the Tasks button in the Navigation Pane to quickly start a new task. The subject of the email is the name that will appear in your tasks, you can change that name if you like by right-clicking on the task and selecting rename task.
