Converting Mac Pages to Word or PDF

Apple's Pages and Numbers files cannot be read by our D2L's dropbox program.

How to conver pages to Word or PDF

Environment

• Pages
• Desire2Learn (D2L)
• Dropbox

Cause

You may have noticed by now, but Apple's Pages and Numbers files cannot be read by our D2L's dropbox program.  If the Pages word processor is the only software you have,  check out this to learn how to export the file in a way that can be turned in using Dropbox

Resolution

1. Open your document in Pages
2. Click File
3. Click Export
4. Select PDF or Word
5. On Image Quality Select Better or Best
6. Click Next
7. Save As: Type the name of your file
8. Where: Select location you want to save the file to
9. Click Export
