Replying to a D2L discussion

How do you reply to a discussion thread on D2L?

Answer

You must be viewing a message before you can reply to that message.

1. Click the Reply to Thread button at the top or the bottom of the post
2. Enter your reply text in the Message field
3. If you want to include the original text in your reply, click the Add Original Post Text link
4. Set any options you want:
   1. To do the Message Options - Select the Author anonymously check box. This check box is only available if the topic or the topics forum allows anonymous messages
   2. To Attach a file - Click the Add an Attachment button and select the files you want to attach 
5. Click Post
