Emailing student from your classlist in D2L

Question

How do you email a student from your classlist in D2L?

Answer

To send an email to an individual: 

1. Select an individual user by clicking on their name.

To send an email to multiple users: 

1. Select individual users by checking the box next to the name, and then use the email button
2. Select a tab, then select email all users in tab

To email all members of a group: 

1. Click the gray Email Classlist button. 
2. Then change the View by drop-down section to Groups
3. Click the Apply button. 
4. After that, you should have a Groups drop-down section. Here, select which group you want and click Apply
5. This should bring up the members of the group and you can select Send Email at the bottom.
