ALEKS Respondus Lockdown Testing is not working with Chromebook

Issue/Question

ALEKS website and it is NOT compatible with Chromebooks

Environment

• ALEKS 
• Chromebook
• Dual Credit Students
• Respondus Lockdown + Monitor component

Cause

Respondus has not released an update on their side to make it work correctly within the ALEKS platform unfortunately at this time and there is not an ETA with this feature

Resolution

Work around while ALEKS works with Respondus towards a resolution

1. For students with the Chromebook, the professors can still require a password 
   1. Require students take it in an in-person proctored environment
   2. Give that password to the testing center at USD or other testing location
