Intermittent Data Display Issues On Banner Pages

Issue/Question

Macintosh and windows users have intermittently noticed that BannerAdmin 9.x pages fail to fully display all the page data in certain block

Environment

• Banner
• Macintosh computer
• Windows computer
• MacOSX (Monterey 12.4) 
• Edge v103
• Google Chrome v103
• Safari v15.5

Cause

After installing the latest Banner Admin Common 9.3.28.1.1 also reported on 9.3.29.0.5  

PD0001917 - Banner Admin Common 9.3.28.1.1 has intermittent data display issues on BannerAdmin Pages on Macintosh computers

Resolution

After installing the latest- Banner Admin Common 9.3.28.1.1 (Also reported on 9.3.29.0.5)

• Macintosh users have intermittently noticed that BannerAdmin 9.x pages fail to fully display all the page data in certain blocks
• For example
  • Open SHATERM and enter key block info
  • ID =  @00020854
  • Level = UG
  • Click Go
  • Click Term GPA Tab
  • Under Institutional Courses  no data displays

Things that can be tried to resolve the issue:

1. Hitting the Browser Refresh 
2. Re size the browser window smaller  
3. Monitors set to 1080P did have issues
   Note: Monitors that are 4K HD monitors set at 1920x1080 did not seem to have issue
4. Toggling Settings has allowed the data to display
   1. Click Tools 
   2. Click Page Layout
   3. Change from Compact to Comfortable or Expanded

Note: When log back in the issue returns and the re size or whatever worked has to be repeated
