Reducing the Size of a Scanned File

Issue/Question

Having issues shrinking down an image to go into a file

Environment

• PDF file
• Adobe Acrobat

Cause

Scan settings resulted in a file that is too large

Resolution

1. Check scan settings:
   • Black/White scans will be smaller than Color
   • A lower value for DPI will result in a smaller file size
