Mouse and keyboard don't work on laptop

Cause

 

Resolution

  1. Plug in USB mouse
  2. Right click
  3. Click Device Manager
  4. Right click the keyboard entry under Keyboards
  5. Click Uninstall Device
  6. Click Uninstall
  7. Right click the mouse/trackpad entry under Mice and other pointing devices
  8. Click Uninstall Device
  9. Click Uninstall
  10. Restart computer
