Cause

The mission of the University of South Dakota Threat Assessment Team is to enhance community safety by investigating and evaluating expressed concerns regarding intimidating, threatening or potentially violent behavior.

Resolution

1. If you have an emergency, contact law enforcement by dialing 911 from any phone or University Police at 605-658-6199.

Note: Threat assessment team is made up of representatives from Human Resources, the University Police Department, Student Services, Academic Affairs and mental health providers
