Issue/Question

When running a SQL query against Banner data, not all the data is returning or there is an error message

Environment

  • Banner PROD, TEST, ODSP, or ODST

Cause

Improperly constructed query

Running against one of the ODS sources - the data may not have been refreshed correctly or the data was not updated yet

Resolution

  1.  Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. Your name
    2. The SQL statement you are attempting to run
    3. Which data source you are attempting to access (PROD, TEST, ODSP, or ODST)
    4. What data is missing or the error message you received
    5. A direct phone number we can reach you at to discuss
