Adoptions not Required (Online Bookstore)

Issue/Question

My course never uses a text

Do I have to mark my course as Adoptions not Required each semester?

Environment

• USD Online Bookstore
• Akademos
• Faculty
• Verba Collect

Cause

no materials are required 

Resolution

1. Go to Verba Collect
2. Click the course
3. Select No Text Required
4. Select Complete
5. Note: If materials are needed, they need to be listed in the online bookstore. Certain benefits, such as those provided by Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) and NCAA textbook scholarships must run through the bookstore to be properly processed.
6. If your course (s) never have adoptions, contact the bookstore through the Ask Charlie's Bookstore & Fan Shop a Question form
7. Under this question is in relation to, select Charlie's Bookstore
8. Type in Course Codes and Sections
9. Under Textbook Name, indicate Adoptions never Required
10. Fill out fields as needed 
11. Click Request
12. Your course/section will be added to a master no adoptions list
13. Prior to each semester bookstore adoption opening, these courses will be marked as No Text Required
14. Faculty members can always override this selection if needed in the future
