The postal machine is down and the service tech is 2 hours away but he told Steve if he could get someone from IT over there he would walk them through some processes.

Environment

  • Postal Machine

Cause

The Postage machine was recently updated and a windows update reverted some of the firewall settings

Resolution

  1. Click 
  2. Type Windows Firewall
  3. Ensure All Firewall settings are turned off
  4. Reboot the Postage Machine and Software
