Slow response Printing to Network Printer

Issue/Question

When printing my program changes to Not Responding for several minutes and then prints

At times when trying to print in excel, it will show as not responding and will have a long delay until it actually prints

Environment

• Network printer
• Adobe
• Word
• Excel

Resolution

1. Close all open windows for the program you are trying to print from
2. Open the application and try printing again
3. Close all programs and restart your computer
4. Power the printer off, and then back on
5. If you are still having issues please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
   1. Description of Issue
   2. Approximate delay time between print selection and print output
   3. Name of Printer
   4. Computer Asset Tag
