  1. Ensure microphone is enabled in Windows settings
    1. Click
    2. Click
    3. Type microphone in search box
    4. Click Microphone privacy settings
    5. If Microphone access for this device is off,
    6. Click Change
    7. Click
    8. Close settings windows
  2. Check Volume settings
  3. Reinstall sound drivers
  4. Open lid on laptop
