Wireless Gyration Mouse Is Not Working

Issue/Question

The wireless Gyration mouse is not working 

Environment

• Smart Classroom
• Conference room
• Classroom hardware

Cause

The wireless Gyration mouse receiver is not plugged into the computer

The wireless Gyration mouse receiver is missing or damaged

The wireless Gyration mouse receiver has lost communication with the mouse

The wireless Gyration mouse battery is low or dead

There is an issue with the USB port that the receiver is plugged into

Resolution

1. Check to see if the LED lights up on the top of the mouse
2. Place the mouse back on to the charger and wait for at least 5 minutes
3. Still need assistance please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
   1. Building name
   2. Room number
   3. A detailed description of the issue
