I received a new battery backup (uninterruptable power supply (UPS)) and need to set it up

Resolution

  1. Unpackage device
    Note: Check if UPS battery is installed, some UPS deliver their product with internal battery disconnected
  2. Plug power cord into wall outlet
    1. Do NOT plug into power strip
  3. Turn on device
  4. Connect desired equipment
