User is unable to access network shares but has Internet connectivity
Environment
Cause
Multiple causes
Resolution
- Type Network Status in Windows search bar
- Press ENTER
- Click Ethernet
- Ensure you are connected to sdbor.local
- Click Change Adapter Options
- Right-click appropriate network and select Properties
- Double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
- Check Obtain DNS server address automatically if not already selected
- Click OK
- Click OK
