Error when logging into Sitecore

Content editors are not able to login to Sitecore; error message shows in the browser

Issue/Question

  • When logging in to Sitecore, you see an error message

Environment

  • Sitecore CM (cm.usd.edu)

Cause

  • Sitecore cannot communicate with the Directory server

Resolution

  1. Sitecore needs to be reloaded to refresh the connection to the authentication provider (Active Directory).
  2. Please contact the Service Desk for further assistance with this issue.
