Create Report/Query Using a Browse Window

Environment

  • TMA

Resolution

  1. Log into TMA
  2. Click on Browse tab on any TMA screen
    1. example:  Transaction > Work Order > Single Task Work Order
  3. Click Add
  4. In Save Query As: Enter the name of your query
    1. if only you will be using this query,  leave radio button Private on
    2. if others need to use this query, click Public or Public/No Edit
  5. In left column, highlight field you want
  6. Enter length you want on the report
  7. Click right arrows
  8. If you have fields in the right column you do not want, highlight and then click the left arrows to remove from query
  9. Click Add Criteria
  10. Column Name dropdown pick field
  11. Operator dropdown pick your criteria
  12. Value - enter appropriate value for your criteria
  13. Last field enter appropriate and/or criteria
  14. Click Update
  15. Repeat steps 9-14 until all your criteria has been entered
  16. Click Find to see if you get what you are after if not repeat steps above until you do
  17. Click Save in upper window this saves the query
  18. You can now find query in dropdown
