I cannot see Google Drive in File Explorer

I need help adding Google Drive to File Explorer

Environment

  • Google Drive

Cause

Missing link or broken link in file explorer

Link accidentally removed

Resolution

Note: Instructions for putting a link in file explorer for Google Drive

  1. Click the
  2. Type %appdata% into the Search Box
  3. Double click Microsoft
  4. Double click Windows
  5. Double click Network Shortcuts
  6. Right-click and select New Shortcut
  7. Click Browse
  8. Click This PC
  9. Click Windows (C:)
  10. Click Users
  11. Click Your User Name
  12. Click Google Drive
  13. If Google Drive is not there look for mapped drive letter under This PC
  14. Type in the name you want to call the link
  15. Click X to close File Explorer
