I Cannot Find My Report in Cognos

Cognos is set to show 15 reports per page
Use the arrows to navigate between pages to find the report you need in your folder

Issue/Question

  • I can't see the report I used to run in Cognos, what happened to it?
  • Where do I find what Cognos reports exist?
  • Give report Transfer Student Enrollment Analysis report to two people
  • Report exists in PROD Cognos, but does not exist in TEST Cognos

Possible missing folder access group on the user

Possible missing folder access group on the report

Report not created in TEST Cognos

Resolution

Please contact the Service Desk with the following:

  • The name of the report you are attempting to run
  • The folder path of the report (if you had a direct link to it, include the link, that helps a lot)
  • If the report exists in PROD, but not in TEST, explicitly mention this in the ticket creation email

    ITS STAFF ONLY

    1. Follow Granting Cognos Reporting Access
    2. If the report does not exist in TEST Cognos, it will need to be copied to TEST and the data source modified
