Issue/Question
My Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone does not appear to be working
My phone says it is registering
My phone has an icon that is spinning
I cannot call out or receive calls
The VoIP phone continues to go in and out saying that it is not registered
Error: Phone not registered
Phone is registering
Verifying Network Connection
Environment
- Cisco Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Phone
Resolution
- Turn the phone off and back on
- Ensure the Ethernet cable is plugged into the port with the network icon on the back of the phone
- Unplug network cables from back of the phone and wall port then plug it back in
- If the phone still does not work, please contact the Service Desk with the following information:
- Name
- Phone location
- Phone number
- When the issue started
